Attention Clark County Benefit Bank sites:

Here is a link to our most current tax schedule for Central Ohio.

Thursday, December 2, 2010

Hello, my name is Heather Pennington; I recently joined the Central Ohio team as a Community Trainer for The Ohio Benefit Bank through AmeriCorps VISTA. While the Community Trainer position is new to me, AmeriCorps is not. I served with AmeriCorps State in Licking County at a site that offered mentorship to at risk youth. After completing my first AmeriCorps term, I spent a few years working in the sales and customer service fields as well as the public service sector. Upon completion of my BA from The Ohio State University, I worked as a teacher and in the field of recreation. Through all of my experience I have learned so much, and I am still learning. I think the most valuable lesson to me, taught by my parents- though I now see it in others, is that self-sacrifice is the ultimate expression of commitment. I am very excited about my new adventure and am especially looking forward to getting out and making a difference in our communities.
I will be responsible for trainings for the Central Ohio region. Please Contact me at (614) 221-4336 ext. 350 or hpennington@oashf.org if you would like information on becoming a new site, upcoming trainings, or general questions.
I look forward to working with you

Having Trouble Understanding PIPP Plus?

If you or your clients are still having trouble understanding the newly implemented PIPP Plus program this Fact Sheet, produced by the Ohio Consumers Counsel may be helpful. The document is fairly in depth, but I think you will find it helpful.
